Santorum: It's what you want

"It's what you want!" A man in MaryAnn's Diner in New Hampshire tapped Rick Santorum on the should and made that statement. Santorum, and wife Karen, visited the diner as part of their primary push in New Hampshire yesterday.

Why would a customer in a diner say that to Santorum? Did he think Rick needed a menu recommendation?

No.

In the background of the video (it's 20 min. long), you can hear someone yelling for the cameras to get outside. Then someone comments that he's been hit in the back of the head with one of the cameras. It doesn't deter the crush of media types. Interference is their goal, not publicity. They were trying to make Santorum as uncomfortable and unable to meet and greet as possible.

What does a humble and generous Rick Santorum, Republican Presidential hopeful, do in response?

He apologized for the media frenzy that followed him INTO the diner. His comment: "I thought they'd wait until I got outside."

Respect.

Do you think that mattered to the media? They showed no respect to the Santorums, to the owners of the diner, to the people frequenting the establishment. They just didn't care.

And, this is the field of crazed spin-meisters that Santorum faces in his battle to win the nomination.

Pray, hope and don't worry, Rick -- God's got your back! You may not exactly want this type of interference, but free media time -- take it!

He is showing the kind of character we need in our next President. I got the pray and hope part down now to work on the don't worry part.

Nothing is a foul for these people; they follow no rules at all. It's such a bloodthirty atmosphere. Very scary to witness. I've said it before; I don't know how anyone subjects him or herself to this by running for any public office no less the presidency.
