Vacation memories in pictures: Part 1

It all starts at the zoo! Brookfield Zoo; Brookfield, IL
Hoooo's, that peaking out behind Annie & the owls?
Mandatory Moose picture!

Every couple needs a picture in front of the Bison Prairie Grill... where they just ate Bison burgers and Bison chili -- which seemed a little cruel...

...right next to the Bison exhibit!
Moo-ving on to the Museum of Science & Industry and the newest featured exhibit -- Girls on livestock!
One small step for long day for the Vestergirls!

Though you can't see it in this photo, the colored sparks from this static electricity orb kept Eddie focused for about 5 min. -- SHOCKING!
Contemplating the mission to Mars in the Space Flight Center

We were stuck in traffic for about 30 min., mostly in front of this sign, trying to get down town Chicago to see Millennium Park -- the fact that the name of the mayor is simply a sticker over the old mayor's name is disconcerting...just how long will this parkway renovation take exactly? dollars must work more slowly than other dollars.
It looks like a simple water fall streaming off a wall. This was by far the most bizarre thing we saw in Chicago. Here's why...

Every few minutes the face, which changes periodically, puckers up its lips and spits water at you! YUCK!

Then came THE BEAN... it's actually a mirrored, kidney shaped object...
...which ended up being really COOL & A LOT of FUN!

And to make sure that we took in as much as we could...Lake Michigan was a MUST!

St. Louis was only a day away!!!
