The Church Misogynistic? -- Kathryn Jean Lopez @ National Review Online

The heart of the Church is Christ Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. If we start from faith in this paramount doctrine, this glorious mystery, and base the way we live around Him, one cannot help but know they are loved. Women do not need to be priests to be loved in the Church. We do however need to excel where God has made opportunities available. It's time for we women to be exemplary women instead of trying to oppress and prove ourselves worthy to the men.

This is not some old fashioned, obsolete idea that keeps women subjugated to men. No, this is the ideal of feminine genius that empowers women to be what they were created to be -- WOMEN!
