Faith Facts Friday

Well, Nancy Pelosi and her favorite word caused quite a stir this week. I pray that Mrs. Pelosi will be deeply moved and changed by that Word made flesh. May her public policy decisions and rhetoric start to resonate more with the Gospel teaching.

Life is the one issue we must all hold dear! So, considering Mrs. Pelosi voted against the ban of partial birth abortion and in light of this encounter with Christ in the public policy arena, I thought I would pull the Faith Facts this week from Scripture. Below will be three passages from Proverbs 11 that should inform and inspire our public servants in their mission to shape policy according to the Word as Mrs. Pelosi proposed.

The honesty of the upright guides them; the faithless are ruined by their duplicity. (Prov 11:3)

The wicked man makes empty profits, but he who sows virture has a sure reward. (Prov 11:18)

Virtue directs toward life, but he who pursues evil does so to his death. The depraved in heart are an abomination to the LORD, but those who walk blamelessly are his delight. (Prov 11: 19-20)

God Bless Us All!
